Finley Student Government Making a Difference
november 6, 2026
J. Taylor Finley Middle School student government officials are busy playing an important role in fostering school spirit, encouraging student involvement and serving as the voice of the Finley community.
This year’s student government leadership team includes Weston Howell (president), Charli Bond (vice president), Meredith LaCosta (treasurer), Piper Savatta (secretary), Dylan Gilroy (public relations coordinator) and Nathan Holbreich (representative).
Student government members help plan, organize, and carry out a variety of school activities and traditions throughout the year. From Homecoming and Deck the Doors to Reindeer Games, Battle of the Grades, and spirit weeks, these student leaders work together to create engaging experiences that bring the Finley community together.
As representatives of their classes and school, student government members are expected to demonstrate good citizenship, leadership, positive behavior and strong school spirit. Through their involvement, they have opportunities to share student perspectives, collaborate with their peers, and contribute to a welcoming and inclusive school environment.
Teachers Dana Rogan and Keith Miller serve as the organization’s faculty advisors. “Congratulations to Finley’s student government leaders,” Ms. Rogan said.
“Their dedication and enthusiasm help make Finley Middle School a place where students can connect, participate and take pride in their school community,” Mr. Miller added.
