Telling the Story of Huntington High School
november 5, 2026
Longtime faculty advisor Elizabeth Casazza, and Huntington High School Yearbook Club members have been busy working to capture the people, achievements, and memories that make the school special since early September.
Club members collaborate on the yearbook’s theme and cover, discussing colors, fonts, designs, and photographs that represent students across the school. Led by junior Hennie England, the club’s president and a member since her freshman year, the group combines creativity and teamwork to bring its ideas to life.
This year, senior Leah MacManus introduced a vision for the cover, with Leila O'Toole and Ella Palatnek contributing ideas to help shape the final design. Together, the members created a cover inspired by timeless elegance and classic glamour. They can't wait to share it with the school community.
Creating the yearbook is a schoolwide effort. Photography teacher Pamela Piffard encourages her talented students to contribute images, while professional photographer Darin Reed generously shares his photographs and Jo Art, the school photography company, provides additional pictures of the students. Administrators, teachers, and students all play a part in documenting the moments that make Huntington High School unique.
The 232-page yearbook will celebrate the many ways students contribute to school life, from achievements in sports, music, and the performing arts to drama productions, clubs and community service. It will also memorialize the friendships, traditions, and everyday moments that make high school memorable.
As the club continues bringing together photographs and stories, its goal is to create a keepsake that reflects the spirit of the 2026/27 school year and the people who made it special.
