Class of 2027 Celebrates a Nostalgic Harvest Fest Tradition

The Huntington High School Class of 2027 enjoyed a special throwback to the Harvest Fest celebrations of their primary school days! Sponsored by the senior parents, the high school courtyard was transformed into a festive autumn gathering filled with fun, nostalgia, and school spirit.

Students enjoyed delicious seasonal treats, including apple cider donuts, and visited a pumpkin patch where they could select and decorate their own pumpkins. A festive photo station complete with hay provided the perfect backdrop for pictures with friends, while photographs from their primary school Harvest Fest celebrations brought back cherished memories of their younger years.

The event was a tremendous success, with students excited to choose their pumpkins and spend time with classmates as they make the most of their final year of high school. The senior parents initially provided 200 pumpkins, but the enthusiastic response from students prompted them to arrange for an additional delivery!

Reflecting on the special day, Ms. Brown shared, “This was truly a special event to see the students light up as they entered the ‘pumpkin patch’ with their classmates. The highlight of the event was the displayed pictures of them attending the Harvest Fest at their primary schools. The senior moms truly put their heart and soul into this event. I am so grateful for their creative ideas and tireless effort to create lasting memories for our kids.”

The Harvest Fest celebration was a wonderful reminder of how quickly the years pass and how meaningful school traditions can bring people together. Thanks to the generosity, creativity, and dedication of the senior parents, the Class of 2027 enjoyed a memorable afternoon celebrating their past while making new memories together during their senior year.
