Senior Ruby Hoffman is a Bright Light in Class of 2026

Ruby Hoffman is one of the bright lights of Huntington High School’s Class of 2026. She excels academically, has captured varsity athletic letters and served in leadership positions with several organizations. All along the way she has earned the respect and affection of her classmates and teachers.
Ms. Hoffman has compiled an excellent academic record, winning awards in a variety of contests spread across disciplines. Her weighted grade average in the most recent second marking period exceeded 102.
“I am still undecided about what college I will be attending,” Ms. Hoffman said. “At whatever college I choose, I plan on studying neuroscience. I would like to pursue a career in research of memory in this field.”
Ms. Hoffman has played on the soccer, basketball and lacrosse teams during her time at Huntington High School and this spring she intends to play on the Blue Devils’ Unified basketball team.
“I have really enjoyed my time at Huntington High School,” Ms. Hoffman said. “The highlights of my time here have come from the clubs and sports teams I’ve been a part of. They have allowed me to meet new people and try new things I wouldn’t have otherwise done.”
