Finley Spring Season Sports Registration Begins

The J. Taylor Finley Middle School spring sports season will begin on Monday, March 30.

Students can choose from among the following sports: Softball, baseball, girls’ track and field, girls’ lacrosse, boys’ track and field, boys’ lacrosse and boys’ tennis and a combined girls’ gymnastics team with Oldfields, which will practice at Harborfields High School.

Tryouts will be held the first three days of practice. Home and away games and meets will begin on April 21 and will be scheduled throughout each week. The season will conclude on or about June 4.

In order to participate, students must be cleared by the school nurse through Final Forms, the online registration system deployed by Huntington UFSD. As of Monday morning, nearly 1,100 student-athletes have been registered for grades 7-12.

The Parent Playbook available on the district website provides detailed directions on how to enroll as a parent/guardian as well as how to register student-athletes.
