Washington Leaders build Teamwork
October 28, 2026
Washington Primary School’s Third Grade Leadership Team is discovering what it takes to be a great leader through engaging activities and team building challenges that promote communication, cooperation, problem solving, and respect.
During a recent Cup Stacking Challenge, students worked together to build the tallest tower possible, learning firsthand the important of collaboration and perseverance. After reflecting on their initial attempt, students established teamwork expectations and tried again, recognizing how effective communication and working together can lead to greater success. Through hands-on experiences like these, Washington’s leaders are developing valuable skills that will help them become responsible, respectful, and confident leaders in their school, their communities, and their futures!
