Money Inc. Ranks Huntington High School No. 6 on LI

Huntington High School has been ranked No. 6 on a list of best Long Island high schools by Money Inc., an online publication that focuses on the “culture of money.”
Money Inc. ranked what it considers to be the 30 best Long Island high schools, with Huntington faring particularly well.
“Huntington High School stands as a beacon of academic excellence on Long Island’s North Shore,” according to Money, Inc., which noted the school “offers a diverse curriculum that caters to various learning styles and interests.”
Money Inc. also noted that Huntington “boasts impressive Advanced Placement participation rates” and also mentioned the high school’s science research program as a reason for its high ranking.
“Athletics play a significant role in Huntington’s culture, with competitive teams in football, lacrosse, and track and field.” Money Inc. wrote. “The Blue Devils consistently compete at high levels in Suffolk County championships.”
Finally, Money Inc. wrote that “Huntington’s arts programs deserve special recognition for their quality. The music department has earned NYSSMA gold ratings, while the theater program produces professional-caliber performances each season.”
The Top 30 ratings were based on “comprehensive metrics including academic performance, graduation rates, college readiness and extracurricular offerings,” according to Money Inc. “Parents and students searching for top-tier education options will find valuable insights in this carefully researched ranking.
