August 12, 2026

Mark Ingram is among Huntington High School’s newest graduates. The Class of 2026 is filled with academic superstars and Mr. Ingram is one of them. The teenager plans to student marine biology at Roger Williams College in Bristol, Rhode Island.

An Advanced Placement Scholar with Distinction, Mr. Ingram was inducted into high school’s Latin Honor Society chapter. He compiled a fine record across all academic disciplines.

“The key to my success has been how much I have enjoyed the classes I've taken as this helped me perform better in them and fostered my interest in learning” Mr. Ingram said. “It also helps that I’ve had many friends in my classes, as they’ve helped me study and I felt more comfortable discussing the topics with them.”

Mr. Ingram said he enjoyed being able to choose his own classes and make his own schedule. “I've been able to explore my interests by taking unique courses, which has solidified my goal in college,” he added. “I’ve also found like-minded students, which has helped me navigate my path forward.”

Among Mr. Ingram’s extracurricular activities was chosen as a Natural Helper. “It has taught me important lessons: how to be a better listener, how to work well with others, and, most importantly, how to be there for someone in need,” he said.
