Senior Titan Elysee Vies for All-State Football Honors
November 25, 2025
Huntington senior Titan Elysee is vying for All-State football honors after making notable contributions to the Blue Devils’ best season in more than a decade. The 5’10, 170 lb. running back/linebacker excelled in the offensive and defensive backfields and on special teams as a kick return specialist.
“I have had the privilege of watching Titan develop into one of the most dynamic, disciplined, and impactful football players and track and field star I have encountered in my coaching career,” Huntington head coach Ronald E. Wilson said. “What sets Titan apart is not only exceptional athletic ability, but the rare versatility and competitive spirit that allows him to excel as a true multi-threat athlete on offense, defense and special teams.”
An All-Division honoree in football in 2024 and this past fall, Elysee was All-Division, All-County and All-State in track and field in 2023, 2024 and 2025. He runs with Huntington’s indoor and outdoor track and field teams.
“On offense, Titan consistently demonstrates high football IQ, explosive playmaking and unwavering reliability; whether carrying the ball, catching passes, or setting the tone with physical, unselfish blocking,” Wilson said. “His stats pale in comparison with most, but when he went in, he was a force. He only carried the ball this season 12 times for 118 yards and two touchdowns. His focus this year was defense. On defense, he is a game-changer: disciplined in assignments, fearless in pursuit, and capable of altering the momentum of a game with a single play.”
Elysee ended his season with 44 tackles, 10 tackles for loss of yards, nine quarterback sacks, two forced fumbles, two pass deflections and six assisted tackles. “On special teams, Titan brings the same level of intensity and precision, often becoming the difference-maker in field position and game tempo,” Wilson said.
Elysee returned 11 kicks this past fall, scoring three downs on runs covering 97, 82 and 77 yards.
“What makes Titan truly exceptional, however, is that his impact extends beyond athletic performance,” Wilson said. “He is a natural leader, one who leads with humility, lifts teammates through example, embraces coaching, and displays resilience in the face of challenges. Titan’s work ethic is unmatched: first to arrive, last to leave, and always willing to put in the unseen effort that separates good athletes from great ones. Titan truly is the cornerstone of our program and a young person of exceptional integrity and drive.”
