Homecoming Week Fun Coming to Huntington UFSD
September 18, 2025
Huntington UFSD’s Homecoming Week celebration will kickoff next Monday, culminating with a Saturday morning parade and afternoon football game
“Homecoming is a time to reflect on how far we’ve come, celebrate the achievements of our students and look forward to the future with unity and pride,” Superintendent Beth McCoy said. “I am incredibly proud of our school district and the vibrant, inclusive spirit that defines Huntington.”
Individual schools within the district are planning their own special days throughout the week. On Friday (September 26) there will be a varsity soccer doubleheader on Alumni Field with the Blue Devil girls’ team hosting Walt Whitman at 4 p.m. and Huntington boys’ team playing Northport at 6:45 p.m. in a game that will conclude under the new field lights.
“This year’s Homecoming promises to be one of the best yet, packed with energy, enthusiasm, and unforgettable moments,” Ms. McCoy said. “I encourage everyone to break out the blue and white and show off your Blue Devil pride with passion!”
