Flower Hill Celebrates its Star Students

November 6, 2025

Flower Hill Primary School likes to celebrate its stars and it has plenty of them walking around hallways and studying in classrooms.

Flower Hill has always been a proud place. It was standing tall on the day it opened in September 1954 and it’s still highly regarded today after more than seven decades of service to the community.

Principal Cindy Siegel recently announced the names of the Stars of the Month for September. It’s a significant award around Flower Hill and every youngster is thrilled to receive it. Usually, one student from each classroom is chosen monthly. Their name sounds out over the public address system and they hustle down to the main office with a vigorous spring in their step.

“Our entire school community came together in the gym to cheer on this month’s Fantastic Foxes,” Ms. Siegel said. “These outstanding students were recognized for showing what it means to follow our Flower Hill Four; being safe, respectful, responsible and kind.

We’re so proud of our students for leading by example and making Flower Hill a wonderful place to learn and grow!”

Located in one of the most gorgeous areas on the North Shore, Flower Hill is a bustling place. The school can claim students that sparkle in every academic discipline along with the arts and athletics, too. Students know just how fortunate they are to be enrolled in the school and they enthusiastically pass through the doors each morning for another day.
