Huntington’s 14th K-Factor Show on Friday at 7 p.m.
May 1, 2025
The place to be on Friday, May 2 is the Huntington High School auditorium as dozens of acts take the stage for the Key Club’s 14th annual K-Factor talent show at 7 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door for $10.

Key Club faculty advisors Kelly Kaiser and Gina Colica have been working diligently with a group of students led by Key Club President Brennan Ackerman to produce this year’s show.
“As we approach our 14th K-Factor show, people always ask how they can get involved,” Ms. Colica said. “Our reply is to come to the show! This year is sure to be amazing with our talented students and staff. But, to lay it out simply, here are some ways you can help. One way is to understand our cause. This year we are raising money for Nevaeh-Skye Delgado, a 14-year-old girl being treated for Leukemia at Stony Brook Hospital. This is the place where Rachel Antorino began her treatment in 2016 and the reason we donate our time, money and efforts for the families at Stony Brook.”
The 2025 edition marks the 14th annual K-Factor Talent Show, which draws its name from club alum Kaila Harlan, a member of Huntington’s Class of 2009. Proceeds from that first show were dedicated to supporting Ms. Harlan during her battle with leukemia. A Key Club member throughout high school, she passed away that same August, but the show has continued in her honor.
“In addition to understanding our mission, we hope our audience will enjoy all the refreshments and game prizes that will be sold in our lobby during intermission,” Ms. Colica said. “Rachel's Dance for the Cure is selling plaid pajama pants with the logo of K-Factor for $30 to help boost our fundraising efforts. These will be sold on the night of the show along with other merchandise. Show your support by wearing orange on Friday, which represents our support for those battling children’s leukemia. Finally, we want to thank the administration, students and staff, the sponsors and honor societies for their continued support for such a great cause. See you at the show!”
