March 27, 2025
Huntington High School will host a virtual presentation by Princeton Review titled “PSAT 10 Scores: Now What?” on Thursday, April 10 at 7 p.m. This session will guide students and their families through understanding PSAT 10 scores and how to use them to plan for future standardized testing and college admissions.
“We know how important it is for students and families to feel confident and informed about the next steps after receiving PSAT 10 scores,” said Dr. Ricky V. Papandrea, district director of school counseling and testing, K-12. “This session will provide valuable insight on how to interpret scores, set goals, and strategically prepare for upcoming exams, all with the support of Princeton Review’s experts.”
The virtual event is open to all students and parents and registration details will be provided through the school’s counseling department. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain essential knowledge on using PSAT scores to build a successful college admissions plan.
The PSAT 10 takes two hours and 14 minutes to complete and consists of two sections: reading and writing and math. Most questions are multiple choice, but some math questions require test-takers to write out an answer rather than to select it.
The reading and writing portion takes 64 minutes and includes 54 questions and the math section takes 70 minutes and includes 44 questions.
