Huntington High School PTSA in Full Swing

January 14, 2025

Huntington High School’s Parent-Teacher-Student Association is in full swing. One of the organization’s main goals is to make the high school “a warm and welcoming environment for all students, teachers, staff families and community members,” according to a membership flyer.

This year’s executive board includes Devon Perotti (president), Kim Curran (vice president), Kim Einemann (vice president), Kristin Kanzer (treasurer), Danielle Falk (recording secretary), Liz Matthews (corresponding secretary) and PTA Council Delegates Jen Biancardo and Janine Luca.

Basic membership in the organization is priced at $10. Join online at https://huntingtonhs.memberhub.com/store. Enhanced memberships are also available.

“In order for the PTSA to reach its potential, we need more than just parents,” states the membership flyer. “Teachers, faculty and staff can help us reach our goal by becoming members. Your membership dues will go toward funding events and programs for the year, including welcome back to school hospitality, float night and homecoming, student government contributions, Parents Night Out, staff appreciation events, Deck the Halls/hot cocoa bar, student clubs, defensive driving campaigns, celebrating seniors, scholarships and more.”

The group hosts a Facebook page, too. Search for Huntington High School PTSA.

All parents, teachers, staff and students are invited to the next meeting of the organization on Thursday, January 30 at 7 p.m.
