HHS Girls’ Flag Football Clinic & Intramurals

A clinic and intramural flag football program for Huntington High School girls’ has been scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays from February 11 through March 13 from 4:00-5:30 p.m. on either the Blue Devil Stadium or Alumni Field turf. All girls’ interested in flag football are invited to attend.

The Blue Devils will field varsity and JV flag football teams this spring. The varsity will play a schedule of 16 games. The JV features an eight game schedule.

The Blue Devil varsity flag football will be coached by Malcolm Eugene and Alyssa Adomaites. The JV team will be coached by Antoine Swain and Patrick Reilly.

The clinic and intramural program will be overseen by Coach Eugene. It’s design for participants to “get ready to learn, compete and have fun.” There will be skill-building drills, strength and conditioning activities and sessions on strategy and the rules of the game.

“No experience is necessary,” Coach Eugene said. “Just bring your energy and a love for the game. It’s open to all high school girls. Come and be a part of something great.”

The two Blue Devil teams will be decked out in brand new uniforms this season. New footballs have also been purchased for practices and games.
