Woodhull Presents Eagles of the Month Awards

Smiles. Plenty of smiles. That’s what everyone around Woodhull Intermediate School saw when January’s Eagles of the Month Awards were announced. Lots of happy children walking away with certificates. Classmates were happy, too.

January’s award recipients include: Leila LaCourte, Sailor Helm, Kailyn Pereira, Noah Cuadra Chavez, Jaylenn Saravia Bueso, Jerald Romero Jaramillo, Olivia Patane, Genesis Alvizures Uceda, Juan Jose Moreno Quintanilla, Gavin Ponce, Nicole Marin Maldonado, Melanie Pin, Triana Lucero Aguilar, Abigail Diaz Santos, Phoebe Poli, Scarlett Maldonado Carbajal, Lucy Lain, Dylan Jurow, Julianna Araujo Hernandez and John Nicholas.

Teacher Carol Anne Kinane was also recognized for all of her efforts in and out of the classroom at Woodhull Intermediate School.

“We are proud of Woodhull’s Eagles of the Month, who demonstrated responsibility by consistently completing their assignments on time, assisting their peers with classwork, taking initiative in classroom activities and going above and beyond in various other ways,” Principal Stephanie Campbell said.

Woodhull’s Family Engagement Night is set for Tuesday, February 4. The Woodhull drama club’s musical is scheduled for Saturday night (February 8) at 7 p.m. at Huntington High School. Woodhull’s Bingo Night will be held on Wednesday, February 26 at 7 p.m.

March will be jam packed with activities and fun, too. The annual sixth grade trip to Frost Valley is set for the first week of the month.
