Woodhull’s Family Engagement Night is Amazing
April 3, 2025
Parent and student reactions to last week’s Woodhull Intermediate School Family Engagement Night cannot be overstated. “Incredible,” “amazing,” “fun,” and “exciting” were just some of those reactions. No one wanted it to end.

The evening was facilitated by veteran art teacher Todd Hiscox, who will be retiring from his faculty position at the end of the school years.
“Woodhull Families gathered for a fun-filled Paint Night led by our amazing art teacher, Todd Hiscox,” Principal Stephanie Campbell said. “Together, students and their parents channeled their inner artists, creating stunning 9 x 12 reproductions of Claude Monet’s impressionist masterpieces. It was incredible to see the talent and creativity of both students and parents as they crafted their own unique versions of Monet’s work.”
Fourth grader Valentina Evans and her father, Robert were among those in the cafeteria for the evening program. Their reaction was similar to that of everyone else: it was a great night.
“The evening was a beautiful celebration of creativity and family bonding as we welcomed the arrival of spring with a splash of color,” Ms. Campbell said.
