The SCOPE Huntington UFSD Music, Art & STEM Enrichment Program is taking on a new look this summer! This year’s program will offer four one-week sessions running from Monday, June 30 through Friday, July 25 at Huntington High School. Each weekly session will run Monday through Friday from 9 am to 12 pm for $199.*
• Session 1: June 30- July 3 (*cost is $160 due to July 4 holiday)
• Session 2: July 7-11
• Session 3: July 14-18
• Session 4: July 21-25

This year, students can sign up for one or more weeks of sea themed STEM & art program, which will feature a different focus/medium each session. Students who participate in this program will receive 1.5 hours of art and 1.5 hours of STEM and will be broken up by age/grade.
New this year is the Instrumental Music and Art Exploration Program for students in grades 4-8, which will be offered during Session 3 (July 14-18). This new program will accommodate both beginners as well as students who are comfortable reading music and enjoy playing in an ensemble. Students will spend half of the program in the art room working on musically themed projects, such as painting to music, sculpting instruments and more! When not in the art room, students will be developing their music reading and playing skills. Beginning students will learn how to hold and play their new instruments as well as reading music and playing as a group.
Students entering fourth grade who have not yet been assigned their instrument should sign up for their first-choice instrument and it will be adjusted if necessary. Intermediate and Advanced students will continue to work on their music reading and will play music as a group as well as some solos and duets depending on the make-up of the group.

And back again is everyone's favorite Musical Theater program! This year "Broadway by the Sea" will run for four weeks from Monday, June 30 through Friday, July 25. The program will be three hours per day and will end with the performance of a junior version of a sea-themed musical! Cost is $799 for the entire program.
