Huntington High School Hosts Successful College Fair

April 2, 2025

Huntington High School welcomed representatives from 53 colleges and universities for a highly successful College Fair. Students had the opportunity to explore a wide range of post-secondary options, speak directly with admissions representatives and gather valuable information about academic programs, financial aid, and campus life.

“This event is all about empowering students with knowledge and opportunities,” said Dr. Ricky Papandrea, director of school counseling and testing, K-12. “Connecting with college representatives helps students make informed decisions about their future and inspires them to think big.”

The College Fair provided a valuable experience for students at all grade levels, from those beginning to explore their options to seniors finalizing their college choices. The action played out in Louis D. Giani Gymnasium. The large space gave the college reps and students plenty of room to meet and discuss programs, campuses and living arrangements.

“The Huntington High School Counseling Department extends its gratitude to all participating institutions and encourages students to continue researching and planning for their next steps,” Dr. Papandrea said.
