Huntington VE Students Shine at Trade Show
April 2, 2025
Huntington High School’s four Virtual Enterprise firms shined at the Lynbrook trade show. More than five dozen firms from 38 high schools in Suffolk, Nassau and New York City turned out for the event. It was their last big sales push prior to the National Youth Business Summit at the Jacob Javits Center in Manhattan on April 8.

In addition to the Virtual Enterprise participants, more than 500 Lynbrook students and staff attended the trade show, “so for our students, it marked the first time they had to actively sell their products to members not familiar with the VE world and they thrived,” Huntington business teacher Bryan Outsen said. “Our four firms together sold just shy of one million dollars, with a total of $958,965.22 in revenue. “
The breakdown for each of the four Huntington firms was as follows:
• Raydiance: $280,428.98
• Flo-Pro: $260,940.41
• Horizon VR: $253,532.93
• Haven: $164,062.90
There were three pre-trades how competitions as well as three competitions during the actual trade show and Huntington was able to take home five awards, including:
Flo - Pro:
• Best Social Media: Silver
• Best Impact Marketing: Silver
• Best Sales Material: Silver
Horizon VR:
• Best Social Media: Gold
Haven:
• Professionalism: Gold
“This was the most successful tradeshow to date, not just for the revenue raised, but for the networking and communication skills demonstrated by the students, as they were able to network with professionals from Jovia Financial, other virtual enterprise facilitators, VE Regional Director Ellen Pallazo and VE CEO Thomas Smith,” Mr. Outsten.
