Huntington Arts Night on Wednesday, April 2

April 1, 2025

Huntington UFSD Arts Night at Huntington High School is set for Wednesday, April 2 from 6-8 p.m. The third annual event looks to be a sensational evening featuring a faculty arts show, crafts and musical performances.

The Huntington Arts-In-Ed Committee is helping to plan and facilitate the evening. Proceeds will go directly to Arts-In-Ed program funding for next school year. The event will feature the district’s art and music staff.

Tickets will be sold at the door for $5 per person or $20 per family, which will go directing to the arts-in-education program. Huntington faculty members will have their artwork on display. Huntington High School Art Honor Society members will facilitate craft-making, drawing and stop motion animation activities.

There will also be special musical performance by district teachers and staff members. There will be art and music themed raffle baskets and a concession stand with food and refreshments

“From 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. children will be invited to create several crafts with our district art teachers and high school art students,” said Kimberly Musial, district director of fine and performing arts. “From 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. everyone will head to the auditorium to watch our districtwide music staff perform.”

Huntington UFSD art teachers Nick Matarazzo and Jessica Simms will be creating works of art live during the evening. Mr. Matarazzo will be creating a large-scale painting and Ms. Simms will be creating a charcoal drawing.

Art department faculty members will be displaying their personal artwork for all to see.

Students and their families are encouraged to come out and enjoy an evening surrounded by art and music!
