The kickoff to the Huntington High School football team’s 101st season will come on Monday, June 10 when the Blue Devils tee-off at 1:30 p.m. for a golf outing at Crab Meadow Golf Course in Northport.

Second year varsity head coach Ron Wilson and his staff have organized what is expected to be a fun afternoon for football alumni and supporters of the program. Check in and preparations on the putting green and driving range are set for 12:30 p.m. Tailgate activities and light refreshments will begin at 12 noon.

Fees for the day are $225 per golfer or $800 per foursome. Can’t play, but would still like to participate and attend the post-golf festivities, including the awarding of prizes. Dinner is available for $75. Sponsorships are going fast for $500 per hole.

“We are hoping for a great turnout at our golf outing, which will also serve as our football program reunion,” Coach Wilson said. “We think it is going to be a great day for the Blue Devils. All proceeds will benefit our middle school and high school football teams and players.

To register for the golf outing contact Coach Wilson at either rwilson@hufsd.edu or 516.658.4870.
