Booster Club Boy’s & Girl’s Lax Camps This Summer

The Huntington Booster Club is sponsoring boys’ and girls’ lacrosse camps this summer. Registration is now available online for the entire summer camp program by visiting www.bluedevilboosterclub.com and clicking on the link for Register Huntington Booster Club Camp.

The boys’ lacrosse camp is open to boys entering grades 3-8. Blue Devil varsity head coach Julian Watts will direct the camp, which will be focused on the essential skills of throwing, catching and scooping up ground balls as well as on game play. The camp will run from July 8-11 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on the Huntington High School turf field. The camp fee is $150. For more information, send a message to Coach Watts at jwatts@hufsd.edu.

The girls’ lacrosse camp is open to all girls interested in having fun and learning more about the game of lacrosse. Huntington varsity head coach Katie Reilly will direct the camp. Sessions will focus all aspects of the sport along with the little details that contribute to successful players. Participants will have fun while working hard on individual and team related skills. There will be drilling and scrimmaging.

The girls’ lacrosse camp will run from July 15-18 on the high school’s turf field. The daily session for students entering grades 3-6 will run from 9:00-10:30 a.m. with a registration fee of $125. The session for those entering grades 7-12 will go from 6:00-7:30 p.m. and cost $125.
