Ms. Abbatiello’s parents both graduated from Huntington High School and she’s a thoroughly Huntington girl herself, making many friends over the past four years and participating in her favorite activities.

The teenager said the keys to her success have been managing her time efficiently and staying organized. Ms. Abbatiello was recognized as a Distinguished Senior earlier this spring after compiling an academic grade average of 90 or better during every semester of high school.

Because of her time management skills, Ms. Abbatiello has been able to complete all of her numerous assignments on schedule. In the most recent marking period, the senior compiled a grade averaging of 97.

Ms. Abbatiello said she has “most enjoyed” being with her classmates, going to sports games and pep rallies and spending time with all the people she has met.

The senior has been an integral member of the Huntington Highsteppers competitive dance team and contributed to the Blue Devils’ placing at the national championships at Orlando, Florida. Ms. Abbatiello has also been a key player with the Blue Devil varsity softball team.

The fun loving teenager has many friends, a testament to her friendly nature. Ms. Abbatiello is always ready to come to the aid of a friend in need. Compassionate and caring the Class of 2024 member has a positive attitude that Huntington teachers say will serve her well as she moves forward with her life at the University of Delaware.
