Junior Anthony Addeo Determines His Interests

January 3, 2024

Anthony Addeo is Huntington UFSD wire-to-wire. The teenager began his trek through the district as a five year old kindergartner at Washington Primary School. He’s always been a teacher favorite and he’s always been surrounded by classmates who have admired and respected him. That’s still true today as a high school junior.

The teenager is enrolled in three Advanced Placement classes, including AP Pre-Calculus, AP English Language and AP Biology. He was recently inducted into Huntington’s National Honor Society chapter. He plays on the Blue Devil golf and baseball teams.

“This year, I am very excited to be a part of Virtual Enterprise, where I’m looking forward to working with my fellow teammates,” Mr. Addeo said. “I believe we have a great group of people and can go very far with our product.”

The junior has surrounded himself with a wonderful group of friends who are all great students while still being able to have fun.

“My experience at Huntington High School so far has been great,” Mr. Addeo said. “The school has so many great opportunities. I’ve enjoyed every class that I’ve had.”

Mr. Addeo has a great sense of humor. He’s a valued member of all of his classes and his teachers appreciate him. He gets along with everyone.

“This past summer I worked at Salty Paddles and Co. and the Lloyd Neck Bath Club,” Mr. Addeo said. “I also played a lot of golf and hung out with my friends.”

The teenager has been discerning his interests, exploring various academic disciplines and seeing what “clicks” with him.

“I’m interested in criminal justice and working in law enforcement within the federal government,” Mr. Addeo said. “Right now my top schools are University of South Carolina, CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the University of Tennessee.”
