Thursday, March 21, 2024. Make note of the date. This year’s Huntington Foundation for Excellence in Education’s Reach for the Stars gala at the Harbor Club at Prime promises to be an incredible evening in every respect. Planning for the affair is well underway and the demand for tickets is already running high.

The organization’s new online digital platform is up and running and supporters of public education are securing their seats. Tickets are priced at $160. Half of the available tickets are already gone.

. Party planners are piecing together an incredible evening of food, fun and friendship. The gala will run from 6-10 p.m. Every detail is being attended to so the evening is a special one.

Longtime Huntington business teacher Suzi Biagi and Jonny D’s Pizza owner Jonathan Dawson will be honored by HFEE. There will be fine dining, music, dancing, raffles and all sorts of fun. Folks are saying that it will be the social event of the season and a “must attend” for every supporter of Huntington UFSD and public education.

All proceeds from the event will be plowed back into the Huntington Foundation’s grant programs. The organization has donated more than $1.2 million to the district over the years.

The contributions of donors and local businesses and the support of individuals, combined with the tireless work of Huntington Foundation members continues to allow for groundbreaking educational initiatives in all eight school buildings in the district.
