Junior Jeremyah Leiva Excels at Bringing People Together

Jeremyah Leiva is one of Huntington High School’s superstars. The junior doesn’t call attention to himself, but he is so talented and his personality is so magnetic that classmates are drawn to him.

Mr. Leiva is the vice president of the high school band. His very nature appears to make him a born leader. He has a soft, but determined touch. The teenager is an articulate advocate for what he holds dear. He has a way of bringing people together.

The junior is an especially gifted musician. “My interest in music all started when I was younger and I got to watch my first marching band performance,” Mr. Leiva said. “I remember being so amazed by the performance that I wanted to join myself.”

The teenager’s passion for music began at an early age. “I started playing percussion in fourth grade and I’m still currently playing percussion,” Mr. Leiva said. “My interest in music grew more and more as I grew up.”

Mr. Leiva exudes positive vibes. Nothing seems to get him down very long. He rolls with the punches and always finds a way to succeed. He is well on his way to compiling a sterling academic record across all disciplines.

A strong student academically, Mr. Leiva is considering Penn State as one of his college possibilities. He is interested in a career as a physician assistant.

“My overall experience at Huntington High School so far has been amazing as I have made lots of friends and become very involved with the school,” Mr. Leiva said. “I hope make this year the best one yet.”
