Free Fall Intramurals Available with More Coming Soon

The free fall intramural program is starting at Huntington High School. The first two teams to announce plans are girls’ basketball and boys’ wrestling.

The girls’ basketball program invites Huntington UFSD students in grades 9-12 to participate in general conditioning and training activities on Wednesdays beginning September 25 and running through November 13 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Attendance at all sessions is not required. Students can participate when it is convenient.

The fall wrestling clinic will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning this week and running through November 7 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the high school wrestling room. The free intramural program is open to Huntington UFSD enrolled in grades 7-12.

The intramural wrestling program will focus on general conditioning and training with a focus on key wrestling positions, offensive hand fighting concepts, situational skills, techniques and strategies.
