Principal Recognizes September’s Washington Winners

Washington Primary School announced September’s student award recipients to much fanfare around the building. The names of the honorees were announced over the school’s public address system and certificates were presented to each of them before they were assembled for a commemorative photo.

“Washington Primary School recognized those Washington Winners who demonstrated the ‘Washington Way’ each school day,” Principal Michelle J. Richards said. “Throughout the month, Washington Winners have the opportunity to earn ‘Wolfies.’ Wolfies are earned by showing acts of kindness, staying focused when learning, respecting our school by passing quietly in the hallways, participating during learning experiences, etc.”

September’s Washington Winners include:

Kaitlyn Lee, Juliett Licona Bardales, Dillinger Katsoulas, David Dominguez Torres, Ryan Kiernan, Jacob Saravia, Luke Arelt, Karli Doktofsky, Winifred Hennings, Victoria Rojas Andrade, Jessica Lizama, Mia Affa, Juliana Vujeva, Emery Adonis, Owen McMahon, Georgia Lain and Dylan Ramirez Rodriguez.

October and November are busy months at Washington Primary School. A Washington PTA meeting is scheduled for Wednesday (October 16) at 6:30 p.m. Trunk or Treat Festivities are set for Friday, October 25 (rain date is Monday, October 28). A costume parade will be held on Thursday, October 31.

Washington’s November PTA meeting is set for Wednesday, November 6 at 6:30 p.m. A Veteran’s Day celebration is set for Friday, November 8. Student picture retakes will be available on Tuesday, November 12. The Washington Book Fair is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, November 14-15. Washington’s Multicultural Night is set for Friday, November 15.
