September’s Fantastic Foxes at Flower Hill School

September 2024 will go down in the annals of Huntington UFSD as one of the best months ever at Flower Hill Primary School. Students jumped off to a great start to the new school year.

Principal Cindy Siegel and her faculty corps recently announced September’s Fantastic Foxes; the school’s Student of the Month Award recipients.

The youngsters were recognized for being respectful, responsible, and safe. “They were awarded ‘Flower Hill Four’ medals and certificates for demonstrating the four core values, which include Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Kind,” Ms. Siegel said. “We are so proud of their hard work and commitment to these important values! Keep shining, Fantastic Foxes.”

September’s award recipients include:

Kindergarten: Allison Reyes Pineda, Tristan Burlage, Annabel Gallo, Lucy Frigeria, Ryder Batewell

First grade: Tristan Brezill, Betsy Selkirk, Amelia Oliva, James Rafter, Natalie Walsh

Second grade: Brianna Ulloa Alfaro, Lesly Guardado Chabla, John Hults, Sophie Keffer, Oliver Hernandez Lopez

Third grade: Alia Interiano Villalta, Gabriel Lyons, Cosette Rodger, Nathaniel Lyons

Special Areas: Physical Education: Londynn Scipo; Music: Niam Ramnarine; Art: Evy Richmond; Library: Dalinsy Estrada Rodriguez

The Flower Hill PTA will meet on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. Family Engagement Night at the school will be held on Thursday (October 17). Flower Hill’s Halloween Bash is set for Friday, October 25. The school’s costume parade and Harvest Festival are both scheduled for Thursday, October 31.
