Register Now for Blue Devil Winter Baseball Clinic

November 27, 2024

The Blue Devil baseball program will be holding an indoor clinic on five Sundays this winter. All Huntington students currently enrolled in grades 2-8 are invited to consider participating.

The clinic will be held on the following Sundays: January 12, 19 and 26 and February 2 and 9. There will be a session for students in grades 2-5 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. and a second session for those in grades 6-8 from 11 a.m.–12 noon. Note: The January 26 clinic will be held in the Jack Abrams STEM Magnet School gym.

Participants in the clinic will have an opportunity to improve their hitting, fielding and pitching skills with the varsity baseball team members and coaches.

The cost is $20 per session or $100 for all five sessions in the winter training program. Proceeds will benefit the Blue Devil baseball program and be used for player enhancements.

The clinic will be under the direction of second year Huntington varsity head coach John Romano, who teaches physical education at Southdown Primary School.

Participants should wear sneakers and bring a glove, bat and water bottle. Send a message to Romano for more information at HuntingtonBlueDevilsBaseball@gmail.com.
