Mia Molina Loving Life as a Huntington Senior

November 13, 2024

Mia Molina is busy making every day count during her senior year at Huntington High School. The teenager is completely engaged in her classes and extracurricular activities and generally loving life as she goes about her daily routine.

“I’m so excited to come back to all my favorite clubs this year,” Ms. Molina said. “I can’t wait for my last year as president of the A World of Difference club and as the French Honor Society’s public relations coordinator. Both of these organizations hold a special place in my heart and I can’t wait to finish this year knowing that we did so much positive change. I also cannot wait for the drama club’s spring musical this year. I’m so excited to be in another spectacle.”

Ms. Molina is an energetic, well-spoken and assertive teenager. She’s proud to be a Huntington student and she’s always looking for the positive to be found in any situation.

The senior is considering Binghamton University, SUNY Geneseo and SUNY Oswego. “I’ve already applied to all three and I’m so excited to hear their responses,” Ms. Molina said. “I’m looking into business/marketing as that’s my main interest and passion at the moment. With these skills I can’t wait to find a place-fit for me in the real world.”

Ms. Molina is a well-regarded vocalist. She has played on the Blue Devil field hockey and softball teams and appeared on stage with the drama club.

“My four years of Huntington have all been amazing,” she said. “I’ve learned that growing includes failing and the only way to get better is by getting up from your falls. I appreciate every lesson, every teacher and every assignment that I’ve had. I’ve made the best friendships in this school and learned a lot from past ones. I appreciate them all equally and can’t wait for what the future holds.”
