Huntington is captained by junior Devon St. John (19 goals, 9 assists) and seniors Kayleigh Bender (37g, 18a) and defender Reese Rinaldi (1g). The Blue Devils are coached by Katie Reilly, Lauren Blackburn and Christopher Taylor.

Huntington’s 19 player roster includes one eighth grader, three freshmen, seven sophomores, six juniors and a pair of seniors. It’s a young team, but the Blue Devils are heading into today’s playoff game with an overall record of 10-6. Defending county champion Northport is 13-3.

Huntington has a powerful squad. In addition to the captains, Reilly will count on Sabrina Boyle (37g, 18a), Jolie Weinschreider (29g, 7a), Bridget Callery (12g, 16a), Grace Gordon (20g, 16a), Jenna Italiano (11g, 2a), Leighton Evans (4g), Cameron Smith (2g), Mia Johnson (4a) and Ella Granito (1g, 2a) for their offensive and defensive abilities.

Rinaldi is joined on the defensive unit by Isabella Palacios, Ava McDonald, Kyra Larsen, Molly O’Brien and Sophie Carlson. Huntington has outscored its opponents this spring, 174-119.

Huntington’s goalies are eighth grader Juliet Johnson (43 saves) and freshman Andie DiGioia (42 saves). The duo will surely be tested at Northport this afternoon.

The Blue Devils are hoping a large contingent of their faithful fans turns out for the game.
