Section XI issued certificates that will be displayed at the high school and Finley.
The varsity girls’ basketball team is coached by Michael Kaplan and Marissa Bergmann with the JV girls’ squad coached by Alyssa Adomaites. The two Blue Devil varsity fending teams are coached by Michelle O’Brien and Vincent O’Garra. The Finley-White girls’ basketball team is coached by Hildi Stanford.
Huntington UFSD and its athletic department takes student, coach and fan sportsmanship seriously. One of the Huntington athletic program’s priorities is “to emphasize the proper ideals of sportsmanship, ethical conduct and fair play.”
