“We are looking forward to Ms. Brown joining our administrative team,” Superintendent Beth M. Fluent in written and spoken Spanish, Ms. Brown began her administrative career at Northside Charter High School in Brooklyn where she supervised the science and guidance departments along with the deans and security personnel.

At Roosevelt, Ms. Brown created the high school’s master schedule for more than 1,000 students, supervised social studies, ENL, world language, music, chemistry, geometry and family and consumer science teachers as well as the Advanced Placement program. She managed the building’s website and Twitter page.

At Uniondale, Ms. Brown oversaw the science, guidance, speech and multi-media specialist departments, was the testing coordinator for Regents, state field tests and the PSAT and chaired the scholarship committee.
