The judges included industry veterans and educators from Five Towns College. The filmmakers and their teachers spent the day in the Harold A. Schmock Auditorium watching each other’s’ animation, broadcasting, comedy, commercial, documentary, drama, horror, music video, PSA and trailer short films. They enjoyed a lunch cooked by Locust Valley High School culinary club members.
“This year's festival was this most incredible to date,” said teacher Heather Swan, who leads Huntington’s film program. “Sixty-eight films made the final screening, comprising four hours and 10 minutes of quality entertainment. I was so proud of all the work our students submitted and beyond proud of Landry’s third place award in the drama category.”
