Time to Celebrate Washington Award Recipients

Washington Primary School celebrated its award winning students for the month of April, with Principal Michelle Richards distributing certificates and taking a group photo of the youngsters. There were many smiling faces among the boys and girls.

“The Washington Winners for April continue to soar through the school year,” Dr. Richard said. “They display great citizenship as they demonstrate the Washington expectations daily by being kind to others and working hard to stay focused throughout the day. The students live up to the Washington Winner pledge as they ‘promise to work hard and never give up!’”

The honorees included:

Isabella Hernandez Bonilla, Victoria Rojas Andrade, Karli Doktofsky, Kian Pipia, Serafina Hanson, Owen McMahon, Evan Ziman, Mila Bogovic, Kagan O’Neill, Timothy Evernham, Berenice Miranda Raymundo, Amelia Dhir, Tucker McGaw, Alesha McGuire, Aimee Soc Cuncua, Elder Sanchez Campos and Zuri Greene

The entire class of teachers Emily Meyers and Jacqueline Rivas was also honored.

Washington Primary School has a crowded calendar of events from now through the end of the school year. A talent show is scheduled for Friday, May 12 with Family Engagement Night set for May 17. Washington’s Field Day will be held on Friday, June 2 with a rain date of Monday, June 5. A family picnic night is set for Friday, June 9. Washington’s kindergarten celebration is slated for Friday, June 16. Third grade moving up exercises are scheduled for Tuesday, June 20.
