Huntington Arts Night Set to be a Blockbuster
February 17, 2023
Huntington Arts Night at Huntington High School is going to be big; really big. It’s a new initiative that promises to be a blockbuster night on Monday, March 6
“This will be our first annual Huntington Arts Night,” said Brian Stellato, district director of fine and performing arts. “The Huntington Arts-In-Ed Committee is helping to plan and facilitate the evening. Proceeds will go directly to Arts-In-Ed program funding for next school year. The event will feature the district art and music staff.”
Tickets will be sold for $5, which will go directing to the arts-in-ed program. Huntington faculty members will have their artwork on display. There will be a hands-on craft opportunity for students and their families. A faculty music recital concert will be held. There will be art and music themed raffle baskets and a concession stand with food and refreshments
Doors will open at Huntington High School at 6:15 p.m. to view artwork and take part in the craft opportunities, with the concert scheduled for 7 p.m.
“Our first ever Huntington Arts Night is shaping up to be a wonderful evening. We will be featuring our amazing and talented district art and music staff, along with raising money for our district-wide arts-in-ed programs. We encourage students and their families to come out and enjoy an evening surrounded by art and music! There even will be a chance to participate in a quick craft or two and take your craft home with you!”
