Samuel Morales to Study Computer Science at Adelphi University

Samuel Morales is one of the best and brightest in Huntington High School’s Class of 2023. An outstanding student across the board and a High Honor Roll member during every marking period over the past four years, the teenager is headed to Adelphi University in Garden City to study computer science.

Mr. Morales is an all-around wonderful young man as many loyal friends and admiring teachers can attest. He was named a Distinguished Senior last spring for compiling an academic grade average of 90 or better during every semester of high school.

Mr. Morales credits his near perfect attendance, thoroughly completing all of his assignment and submitting them on time, preparing for exams, paying attention during class instruction and helping others as the keys to his success.

The new Huntington alum said the most enjoyable aspect of high school has been meeting new people and maintaining old friendships. Mr. Morales has loved watching his friends grow over time and mature from elementary school to middle school and finally through high school to graduation last June.

Challenging himself academically, setting high goals and working hard to attain them has been rewarding. Mr. Morales has chosen one of the most difficult academic majors in computer science, but his teachers at Huntington say the math whiz is more than up to any challenge that Adelphi University might send his way.
