Jenna Italiano Enjoys Life at Huntington High School

October 25, 2023

Jenna Italiano leads a very busy life. The Huntington High School junior likes it that way. Her days are crammed with a full academic schedule, three separate varsity athletic teams and a great group of friends that provide plenty of encouragement and support.

The teenager’s classes include Anatomy and Physiology, Advanced Placement Biology, AP English Language and Virtual Enterprise. Ms. Italiano recently finished the soccer season and she’s now preparing for basketball. In the spring, she plans to return to the Blue Devil varsity lacrosse team. She also volunteers with the high school’s Key Club and Habitat for Humanity chapters and participates in the activities of the Spanish Honor Society.

“I am really excited for the upcoming lacrosse season this year, not only for my love of the game, but to be with my teammates and amazing coaching staff,” Ms. Italiano said. “I am also looking forward to what’s to come in my Anatomy and Physiology class. It is something that really interests me and is very informative.”

Ms. Italiano is a sweet young woman with an easygoing personality and a good sense of humor. She’s a hard worker and conscientious. She likes to compete and gives her best – always.

“I have greatly enjoyed my high school experiences so far,” Ms. Italiano said. “A big part of that has been having influential teachers that have taught me so much along the way. Being on sports teams throughout my high school career allowed me to meet my closest friends.”

The junior worked at the Huntington Bay Club’s summer camp with kids of all ages. She played in tournaments with her club lacrosse team and visited a variety of colleges, including the University of Massachusetts, University of Connecticut, Pen State University and Sacred Heart University.

“I am currently still looking for the right fit for me to pursue my best academic and college experience,” Ms. Italiano said. “My career interests are physical therapy or physician assistant in orthopedics/sports medicine.”
