Talented Executives Lead Huntington Virtual Enterprise Firms

Four Virtual Enterprise business course firms have fully staffed executive offices and are all busy developing their “elevator pitches” and preparing for a VE leadership conference at LIU Post later this month. Business competitions will begin in January.
Virtual Enterprise is a full-year, one credit honors business class available to Huntington High School juniors and seniors. “Virtual Enterprise is a simulated business that is set up and run by students to prepare them for working in a real business environment,” according to the course bulletin. Course grades carry an “honors weighting.” Reduced rate college course credit is available on an optional basis through Farmingdale State University.
Huntington business teacher Paige Furman is working with each of the four VE firms as they begin operations in earnest.
The Prep company team features Vincenza Garofalo (chief executive officer), Parker Wands (chief operating officer), Chelsea Romero (chief technical officer), Geoffrey Hoffmann (chief financial officer), Aaron Idise (vice president-human resources), Aiden Clarke (vice president-marketing) and James Masler (vice president design and information technology).
The Spike executive staff includes Nina Fascilla (chief executive officer), Elizabeth James (chief operating officer), Anthony Addeo (chief compliance officer), Connor Fox (chief financial officer), Thomas Kline (vice president-human resources), Brandon Fucci (vice president-design and information technology), Brennan Ackerman (chief marketing officer), Rosie Arner (vice president-marketing) and Timothy McDonald (vice president-sales).
The Hive company team features Devon St. John (chief executive officer), Luca Cuozzo (chief operating officer), Will Fallon (chief financial officer), Lauren Donaghy (chief technical officer), Julianne Tudisco (vice president-human resources), Ryan Scanlon (vice president-design and information technology), Sophie Carlson (vice president-marketing) and James Vohs (vice president-sales).
