Huntington senior Gianna Forte notched a milestone at Patchogue-Medford on Wednesday night. The Blue Devil star scored four goals to surpass 100 career points and help her team win its second straight game, 14-4.

Forte, a Stony Brook University commit, has been a mainstay in Huntington’s lineup for many years. Her performance this week thrilled her family, teammates and coaches, who all crowded around the teenager for photos to commemorate the occasion.

“Scoring my 100th point was definitely an exciting feeling and a big accomplishment,” Forte said. “A lot of the credit goes to the incredible group of girls I have played with over the past five years. This is a big milestone for sure and I am looking forward to continuing our season this year.”
