Summer Basketball Camps Sponsored by Booster Club

The Huntington Booster Club is sponsoring boys and girls basketball camps this summer.

Registration is now available online for the entire summer camp program by visiting www.huntingtonboosterclub.com and clicking on the link for Summer Camp.

The boys’ basketball camp is open to all boys going into grades 5-8. It will run from July 24-28 from 5-8 p.m. at Huntington High School. The camp will be directed by Blue Devil varsity head coach Peter Lipka. Sessions will focus on the fundamentals of basketball and also feature fun games and contest. The girls basketball camp is open to any girl in grades 3-9 who would like to improve their basketball skills and have fun doing it. The camp will run on June 13-14 and June 20-21 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the J. Taylor Finley Middle School gym. Each of the four sessions will focus on shooting, dribbling and passing as well as mini-games and fun contests. Blue Devil varsity coaches Michael Kaplan and Marissa Bergmann will direct the camp.

Registration fee for the boys camp is $150. The fee for the girls camp is $100.
