Enchanting Night for the Arts on Monday, March 6

March 3, 2023

An enchanting night for the arts is set for Monday, March 6 at Huntington High School. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door for $5 with proceeds to benefits Huntington UFSD’s arts-in-education program.

Huntington Arts Night will put the spotlight on the district’s talented art and music faculty members. Art teachers will have their own artwork on display. There will be a hands-on craft opportunity for students and their families. A faculty music recital concert will be held at 7 p.m.

“The arts are back in full force in Huntington,” Superintendent James W. Polansky said. “The opportunities have never been greater. This event will surely showcase the talent and passion possessed by our incredible student-artists and music and art staff. It promises to be a great evening and I hope all will consider joining.”

Art and music themed raffle baskets will be available along with a concession stand featuring tasty and quenching items.

“Our first ever Huntington Arts Night is shaping up to be a wonderful evening,” said Brian Stellato, district director of fine and performing arts. “We will be featuring our amazing and talented district art and music staff, along with raising money for our district-wide arts-in-education programs. We encourage students and their families to come out and enjoy an evening surrounded by art and music. There even will be a chance to participate in a quick craft or two and take your craft home with you.”
