Register Now for Blue Devil Winter Baseball Clinic

The Blue Devil baseball program will be holding an indoor clinic on six Sundays in the high school gym this winter. All Huntington students currently enrolled in grades 2-8 are invited to consider participating.

The clinic will be held on the following Sundays: January 7, 14, 21 and 28 and February 4 and 11. There will be a session for students in grades 2-5 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. and a second session for those in grades 6-8 from 11 a.m.–12 noon. Note: The January 28 clinic will be held in the Jack Abrams STEM Magnet School gym.

The cost is $20 per session or $120 for all six sessions in the winter training program. Siblings will receive a $20 discount. Proceeds will benefit the Blue Devil baseball program and be used for player enhancements.

The clinic will be under the direction of new Huntington varsity head coach John Romano, who teaches physical education at Southdown Primary School.

Romano has been a Huntington physical education teacher since September 2018. He earned an undergraduate degree in sports management at Dowling College in 2007 and obtained a graduate degree in physical education at Adelphi University in 2011.
