Daniela Luca to Study Business at Univ. of Maryland

Daniela Luca plans to study business at the University of Maryland College Park. The Huntington Class of 2023 member appears to be well-equipped for success on the college level after a great four year high school run.

A member of six different academic honor societies, Ms. Luca was named a Distinguished Senior in recognition of her sterling classroom performance.

The popular teenager has attributed her success to the support she received from family and friends. Ms. Luca also cited the “meaningful relationships” she developed with her teachers, who provided her with “valuable guidance.”

Ms. Luca was a valued member of the Blue Devil tennis team, helping propel Huntington into the playoffs. She also played on the high school’s first ever varsity girls’ golf team.

Secretary of Huntington’s Italian Honor Society chapter and a member of the Huntington Foundation for Excellence in Education’s Youth Board, Ms. Luca was a good natured leader among her classmates.

The new alum volunteered with the high school’s Key Club chapter and brought smiles to the faces of local citizens with Huntington’s Grandfriends club.

Ms. Luca also displayed wonderful creativity and skills in photography, snapping and editing a variety of stunning images over the years.
