Trustees Recognize Spectacular Students

Dozens of spectacular students who have won a variety of awards and other honors were recognized by the Huntington School Board and central office administrators during a public meeting this past Monday night.
Superintendent James W. Polansky and Huntington School Board President Christine Biernacki presented each of the students were special Certificates of Achievement to commemorate their accomplishments. Principal Brenden Cusack, Chairman of Humanities Joseph Leavy and Director of Fine and Performing Arts Brian Stellato were among the speakers.
Mock trial team stars Nina Fascilla and Angie Hernandez-Ramos also addressed the school board, offering articulate testimony regarding how valuable the legal program has been to the pair and their teammates.
