2023 Edition of Huntingtonian Yearbook on Sale Now

November 15, 2022

Senior Sophia Segal never stops working to the make the 2023 edition of the Huntingtonian yearbook something special. The teenager serves as president of the high school’s yearbook club and she is striving to insure the entire student body is represented in one way or another in this year’s volume.

A group of energetic, creative and enthusiastic students is developing the yearbook. The high school has published one annually since 1930. Prior to that the high school issued a type of pamphlet that included a wide variety of school highlights.

Ms. Segal gives her best whenever she takes on a new project and the 2023 Huntingtonian is no different. Her club colleagues display the same quality.

“Sophia comes up with helpful information and always tries to recruit new members that might want to help in developing the yearbook,” said Elizabeth Casazza, the club’s faculty advisor. “Christopher Granados is one of our project managers and he takes the time to learn and teach the new features that the yearbook program has to offer.  He also has come up with new designs for the yearbook pages.”

Senior Aislyn Franciscovich will be designing the cover, “which will certainly impress everyone,” Mrs. Casazza said. The staff also includes co-vice presidents Kelly Splendorio and Ruby Meidenman; secretary Laura Curtin and treasurer: Leah Sheran.

Senior Stephanie Wickey handles the yearbook club’s TikTok account. “The members have fun acting out small skits to spread information about the yearbook events,” Mrs. Casazza said. “We are also excited about the new members that have joined including Isabella Lanfranco, Charlotte Curtin and McKenna Buffa. Mary Marinello and Mikah Schueller are also contributing.

Project managers Ella Kamenstein and Anna Bell Young have been welcomed back with open arms. “They both mentor the new members and contribute to the yearbook developing process,” Mrs. Casazza said.

Parents can purchase ads that will run in the yearbook or even buy the yearbook itself by visiting or Use school code 4579.

Yearbooks are available at a discount of $85 until November 30. They will be sold for $95 after that date pending availability. Personalized/imprinted yearbooks are also available for an additional fee.

Huntington’s School Heritage Museum includes copies of every high school yearbook published since 1930. (There was no yearbook published in 1933 as the Great Depression deepened.) Prior to 1930, smaller sized pamphlets were issued annually. They were more literary in nature, but did contain some recaps of events, clubs and sports teams. Those pamphlets are also in the School Heritage Museum’s collection.
