Blue Devils Livestream Many Athletic Events

Huntington fans can watch Hudl livestreams of sports games on YouTube

September 13, 2022

Blue Devil sports fans will be able to watch livestreams of many athletic events during the fall, winter and spring seasons. Huntington UFSD has installed three Hudl cameras to record games in the gyms at Huntington High School and J. Taylor Finley Middle School and atop the press box at Blue Devil Stadium.

This fall, the camera in the Finley gym is recording high school girls’ volleyball team matches. Later this year it will also film Finley boys’ and girls’ basketball and boys’ and girls’ volleyball contests.

The turf field camera is available to record boys’ and girls’ soccer, field hockey and football games. Later in the year it will film boys’ and girls’ lacrosse games and boys’ and girls’ track and field meets.

The Huntington High School gym camera will be recording boys’ and girls’ basketball games, wrestling meets and girls’ volleyball once it returns to the gym following the installation of the new floor.

Games will be broadcast live on the Huntington Blue Devil Sports YouTube channel. Here is the direct link:

Due to a quirk in programming software, the Finley games are listed as “freshman” level on the YouTube channel, but viewers can clearly see it is the Finley gym and teams. Likewise, high school field hockey games are initially listed as soccer because Hudl doesn’t have a unique film package for field hockey, but the sport is obvious to viewers.
