Four SEPTA grants are sure to inspire and motivate students and teachers

Huntington School Board members unanimously accepted at donation in the amount of $2,966 from the Huntington Special Education Parent-Teacher Association to cover four separate grant awards to district faculty members.

Trustees accepted the donation during a public meeting at the Adam Spector Auditorium in Jack Abrams STEM Magnet School on Monday night.

Huntington SEPTA advocates for and supports the special education community as well as all Huntington UFSD students. The group’s membership consists of parents, teachers and administrators.

SEPTA’s executive board consists of co-presidents Kerri Brandine and Kristin Peters; co-vice presidents Kerry Rinaldi and Kimberley Steinberg; corresponding secretary Rene Babich Dumas; recording secretary Tonya Guandique and PTA Council delegates Denise Murtagh and Wendy Naborre.
